Russian phenom Sound Quelle has contributed greatly to Silk Digital in recent months, with a variety of originals and, most recently, a standout remix of Robert Nickson pres. RNX's "Clear Skies." His diligence in the studio has been graciously rewarded, as his latest works have been featured on many of the world's leading Trance & Progressive radio shows. We're thrilled to present his first EP on Silk Royal: a two-track release that features a new original, "Calypso," as well as an equally anthemic remix of eleven.five & Meyce's "Explanation."

The title cut offers an irresistibly fun, dancefloor-killing groove, while euphoric vocal stabs unite with radiant chords. The lead vocal and melodic themes are offered space to breathe in the one and only breakdown, followed by an absolutely exhilarating and stadium-thumping drop. Sound Quelle's remix of "Explanation" kicks off with an aggressive groove, punctuated by echoing "teaser" chords. At the quarter turn, a ferocious, layered lead chord progression triumphantly cuts through the mix. A relatively subdued breakdown builds anticipatory excitement around the climactic drop to follow, a veritable tidal wave of sonic energy.
